TeamIndia to tour Ireland for T20Is.The two T20Is will be held in Dublin on June 27 & June 29, 2018.

India last visited Ireland in 2007, winning by nine wickets by DL method in a rain-shortened encounter.

Niall O'Brien scored a half-century as Ireland were bowled out for 193 before India, led by Gautam Gambhir's unbeaten 80 and Sourav Ganguly's unbeaten 73, saw them to 171/1 after 34.5 overs which was enough for victory when the heavens opened. Sachin Tendulkar was the only India batsman dismissed, bowled by Roger Whelan for just four.

"Cricket Ireland is most grateful to BCCI for its support in the midst of the team’s hectic schedule, and we look forward to working with them on similar opportunities in the future," Deutrom continued.

"In what is a signal year for us, we are also delighted to be working once again with Malahide CC and Fingal County Council who always help us put on a great show for players and fans alike.”

Malahide will host one of Ireland's most anticipated sporting events when India travels to the Emerald Isle for two T20Is on June 27 and 29.

In a press release issued by Cricket Ireland to confirm the matches, chief executive Warren Deutrom expressed his delight at welcoming India back to Irish shores for the first time in over a decade.

"We are excited to welcome back India to Ireland for the first time in 11 years," he said.

"We are sure crowds will be keen to get a rare glimpse of some of the sport’s T20 superstars in the height of summer in Dublin."

Head coach Graham Ford echoed this sentiment, suggesting it would be an opportunity for fans, but also for his players to prove themselves against one of the world's best sides.

"It’s fantastic news for the lads and fans alike," he said. "The matches will of course be a huge challenge for the team, but what an opportunity for everyone to showcase their talents in front of a huge audience, both at the games and live on television.

"I’m sure the players will respond positively to the occasion with the added incentive of knowing eye-catching displays could result in a possible IPL contract.

"We haven’t played our best cricket in the format in recent years which is reflected in the rankings, but what better time to start climbing the ladder again.

 We have a number of players ideally suited to the short-form and on home soil it’s a great opportunity to cause a shock or two."

Indian fans also wanted to see India vs Ireland t20s. Team Ireland had good chance to upset India in t20s. Team India's t20 record is not good at last  2017.

It's a good opportunity for team Ireland and Ireland cricket board for getting good amount of money and fans through out the country.

Warren deutrom expressed that India will come to Ireland after 11 years and we are getting ready for it because we know the capacity and fans of team India have I  the country and worldwide..
