Kabaddi first originated in (South India) Tamilnadu and kabaddi is popular in south asia and we'll as  in Japan, Iran,Afghanistan,

It's is a very old game. It is played in different parts of India.

It's known by various names. In Bangladesh they call HADUDU.

The kabaddi first time  played in a world stage at 1936 Berlin Olympic.

Kabaddi also added in 1938 Indian Olympic games in Calcutta.

Some Legend says kabaddi played in Mahabharata at 3139 BC.


In India kabaddi mostly played in Tamilnadu,Andhra Pradesh,Telanga,Maharashtra,Bihar,Punjab.

In Kabaddi each team can play 7 players. Total 40 minutes GamePlay each 20-20.

Before it's called as mens game but now women's are playing better than men..
